Description
The European Commission has developed a set of methods to measure and communicate the environmental impact of products and organizations throughout their life cycle: environmental footprint methods (PEF).
These methods are based on a solid scientific foundation and aim to help companies and consumers make more sustainable decisions.The European Commission's PEF website provides information on how PEFs are calculated, how they can be applied in different sectors and what resources are available to businesses and consumers.
